For easy cleaning, the feeder can be quickly dismantled by unscrewing the retaining screw on the bottom, removing the tube, and detaching the base. Simply push the buttons to take it apart. It holds 1.4 quarts / 1.3 lbs. (1.4 L / 615 g.) of various bird feed like cracked corn, mixed seed, peanut bits, safflower seed, sunflower kernels and sunflower seed.

The removable perches and wire shroud make this feeder suitable for both clinging and perching birds. Weight-sensitive perches protect the seed from squirrels and large birds. Measuring 20 inches high by 4 inches in diameter, the feeder has 4 seed ports and is constructed from UV-stabilized polycarbonate to withstand the summer sun.

The patented Seed Tube Ventilation system circulates air to prevent seed from molding. Refilling is easy - just push down and turn the cap, then turn it upside down and shake out any "dust." If needed, use a small stick or utensil to loosen any compacted debris in the feeding holes. After refilling, replace the cap and rehang the feeder.
