Our Story: A Serendipitous Collaboration

It was fate that brought us together as a team. Lloyd Freedman, a Chartered Accountant and MBA, CEO of Oakthrift Corp, and James Thorn, a creative multidisciplinary BSc product designer who had previously held positions at Dyson Technology, combined their skills to give birth to Roamwild.

The Technology

HOW IT WORKS: When a large bird, squirrel, or rat lands on the perch, the perch hatch moves downwards, blocking access to the food. Once the frustrated squirrel moves off the perch, the hatch automatically returns to its open position, awaiting the next songbird to feed.

NO SETTINGS TO ADJUST - AUTOMATICALLY SQUIRREL-PROOF: The Roamwild bird feeder has individually spring-loaded perches that never need adjusting, ready to use straight out of the box. This also prevents the feeding ports from closing when too many birds try to feed at once, a common problem with single-mechanism, weight-responsive squirrel-proof feeders.

So Simple to Use and Fill

Simply open the lid and fill. No need to take the whole feeder apart. The Roamwild bird feeder "clicks" apart for easy cleaning, with no nuts and bolts to remove and replace. The seed container is made from thick, UV-stable polycarbonate.

Waterproof & Product Care

This bird feeder is waterproof and will keep the seed fresh. We fully stand behind our product and will quickly resolve any issues you may have.

Make Sure There is Clearance

To be 100% squirrel-proof, hang the feeder 18 inches/45cm away from any vertical, free-standing object. This prevents squirrels from accessing the feeder without closing the feeding ports with their weight.
